What is Fioricet?
A drug used for treatment of tension headaches and migraines but is also indicated for other types of pain such as shoulder and upper back pain.

Directions:
Fioricet is to be taken by mouth and swallowed whole with a full glass of water. Do not split, chew or crush them.

Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Do not take more than six tablets or capsules in 1 day. If you think that you need more to relieve your symptoms advice your doctor.

Storage:
- Keep Fioricet in a tightly closed container.
- Keep Fioricet out of reach of children.
- Store Fioricet at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom).
- Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed. Talk to your pharmacist about the proper disposal of your medication.

Warning:
Before taking Fioricet, advice doctor and pharmacist about the following conditions:
- If you are allergic to Fioricet, Acetaminophen, Butalbital, caffeine, or any other drugs.
- If you are taking other prescription and nonprescription medications. Many nonprescription pain relievers contain acetaminophen.
- If you have or have been diagnosed with liver disease, porphyria, or depression.
- If you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding.
- If you become pregnant while on medication with Fioricet, promptly consult with your doctor.
- Avoid alcoholic beverages while taking this medication.
